i haven't been around for aaages. been SO busy with college.
two art deadlines this week, so i've been working on my sketch books.

i was ill today, boo.

i've been travelling a lot, seeing my best friends and stuff (:
went to an amazing party on saturday for my friend's 16th, her parents had only hired JOE BLOODY BROOKS! omg :']

anyway, lots of photos just gone up, went a bit camera happy today after i put my fairy lights up! also lots of piccies gonna be going on up over at ~poynterlubz from the gigs i've been to (bbc switch live, leeds lights, taylor swift, joe brooks ;)!)

i'm actually loving it.
it's so much better than sixth form! mainly because the teachers don't treat you like children well, apart from my textiles and art tutor... meh. she's annoying.

i'm studying media, art and textiles.
i have the same tutor for art and textiles. she's lame, but i quite enjoy the lessons.

media, i have a LEGEND of a teacher. he's my tutor group tutor tooo, he jump-kicks doors open :'] lmao.

i don't know many people so i'm still a bit like "..." between lessons, but during lessons it's all good, i talk to the people in my classes and stuff.

but yeah basically, i just thought i'd update you a bit on what was going on (:

oh, and i was told to expect to fail one art subject. um, thanks for the confidence.
apparently i've made it hard for myself because i've done two art subjects, what with the deadlines being similar and stuff. well sorry, i never got told that at the interview so whatever. i'll prove her wrong.

all in all, i'm rather enjoying it : D!
even if i don't get home til 4-5 o'clock most days. can't complain i guess!

fml. :/

they called me in for an interview. i went to the interview.
when i got there, after i'd filled in all the sheets i needed to, they told me the courses i wanted to do were full.
they knew the subjects i wanted to take. they had my application form. why did they leave it to the interview to tell me? there was no way the courses got filled overnight.

so basically, i've been lied to by a place of education. right. that really puts a good reputation on them.
last week they told me on the phone when i rang up that if i sent off my application form by the end of the week, i'd be guaranteed a place because no courses were full.
what. fucking. bullshit.

i'm so pissed off, because i've not got a back up.
looks like i'm going to be ANOTHER year behind, wahoooooo. not.

i'd go back to school, but they don't do photography. and i'd rather die than go back there right now.

bleeeh. it annoys me how they never said anything! clearly the courses WERE full, for. gods. sake.
UFGSIHSDOgHSIOGHSID merrrrr.

on the plus side, i get to see paramore on the 16th of december.

i'm so so sorry for not being more active on here, but i'm almost always over at ~poynterlubz now, so go hit me on up over there!
i only come on here to check deviations and updates from you lot, and upload the odd bit of stuff.

i'll give you all a quick update of what's been going on in my liiife.

i got my AS level results back on the 20th, what a fuck up that was.
biology, C. that was my only pass, fucking gutted. i got Us in psychology, maths and chemistry.
major arguments with the parents ensued: ranting, crying, slamming of doors etc, etc. but i decided i'd quit sixth form, and go to a college.
i mean, if i'm gonna be resitting a year i might as well go somewhere else and do subjects i wanna do, right?

so i'm going to be going to park lane college now. i hope. i sent off my application form a couple of days ago, and they should get in touch with me soon (:
all going well, i'll be doing biology, photography, media studies and fine art.
i'm scared about the pressure of art because it's mainly coursework based, and i'm shit at art exams. ditto photography. and media. biology not so much, but gah.

but i'm gonna try my best and work my arse off, i'm getting a second chance and i'm not letting it go to waste.
